Natural Product Review: Cooling Peppermint Lotion

It's been a solid two years since I endeavored to replace my chemical-laden cleaning (of myself and my home) with a more natural program. I thought this would be relatively simple, given that I live a few blocks from a Whole Foods. Not so. It's taken me a long time to find really good replacements, and I've kissed a lot of frogs along the way. After all that experimenting,  I want to let you know about (more) natural products I like that work well for me. Maybe they will work well for you, too. Cheers to more natural living!

This month I'm suggesting Avalon peppermint body lotion. I found this gem just in time for the summer months ahead. First, it contains 70 percent organic content, no synthetic fragrances, harsh sulfates, or parabens. The natural ingredients include soothing aloe, rich oat extract, and a really lovely peppermint oil.

I have really really really (really) dry and problematic skin. My system gets irritated at thought of a synthetic fragrance. Bath and Body Works makes me physically ill. Anyway, enough of my problems. The good news: This stuff moisturizes my SUPAdry skin and leaves a wonderful peppermint scent behind. And my favorite part? It has a cool tingle a few minutes after application. Oooh la la!

Check it out.
